This one uses that crossing point as the setting zone, with princess-cut and baguette-cut diamonds channel set across the bypass section.

Channel setting runs both cuts in continuous tracks of gold with no prongs between stones — a clean, smooth surface where the diamonds sit flush within the metal rails. The princess cuts and baguettes work in contrast within that shared setting: the square geometry and angled facets of the princess cuts next to the rectangular, step-cut baguettes creates a surface with two distinct light qualities held in the same channel structure.
