The X-shape here is three-dimensional rather than flat: two bands of pavé-set diamonds cross at the centre and dome outward from the earlobe, giving the earring depth and presence that a flat X setting would not have. The dome construction means the diamonds catch light from multiple angles simultaneously as the earring curves away from the ear surface — the rounded profile creates movement in the light return that a flat setting cannot.

80 individual round brilliant diamonds are pavé set across the overlapping bands — 2.0 carats distributed across 80 stones, each positioned with minimal metal between them. At this stone count and carat weight in a domed format, the earring face reads as a continuous diamond surface shaped into an X rather than individual stones in a structured setting.
