Tanzanite is one of the rarest gemstones on earth — found in a single square kilometre of the Merelani Hills in Tanzania, with no known alternative source. Its defining quality is trichroism: the stone shifts between blue, violet, and burgundy depending on the angle of light and the eye of the viewer. Heat treatment, standard practice in the industry, stabilises the blue-purple face colour and is disclosed on all Eternal Signature tanzanite pieces.

Each earring centres a 4×4mm cushion-cut tanzanite — the soft-cornered square shape flatters the stone's colour depth and maximises the visible face. A continuous diamond halo surrounds each stone, the natural diamonds (I–J colour, I1–I2 clarity) amplifying the tanzanite's colour by contrast. The setting is rhodium-plated 10K white gold, which protects the metal's colour and keeps the surrounding metal from competing with the stone's hue. An infinity bail connects each earring to the drop, which measures 5/8 inch in total length. Push-back closure.
